Now that is what I call broad band…

Switched over to Maxcom at home and finally after two years have real broad band at home. We killed the two Cybernet DSL pipes at the office, the one at my home as well as two more at the homes of our directors. All in all that represented about 20,000 per month in Cybernet revenue that has now gone Maxcom’s way. Not to mention the three people in total who read my blog on a regular basis who will also switch to a better service provider.

I have nothing against them but I had had it with paying broadband rates for dialup speed. So there…

I was always so happy with Cybernet at home. Their service was good too. Their maintenance guys even understood how to set up the Mac. But, as of the past few months, their connection is driving me insane. It drops all the time and the speed is very slow. At the office I have a Maxcom connection and that is hassle free most of the time. Perhaps it is time to change. But I was actually wondering whether to go for Maxcom at home or go for PTCL or Wateen broadband.

Maxcom. PTCL bandwith is great but service quality and consistency is a little spotty.

Maxcom rules!! I use it at home and it never goes down. On the other hand I have Cybernet who is horrible and am going to ax them this week.

    Hi,

I have been using MAXCOM for almost a year and never had any complaint un-attended.Any network issues or problem with the DSL Modem were rectified in a day.

Now, can you please figure out why Abba’s laptop is no longer connecting, now that you have come back from Dubai. Nabeel Bhai had fixed it when Maxcom was installed, but Abba thinks you have reset something after you returned from Dubai.

Waise, so glad you changed from Cybernet. It was driving me insane when I was home in May. The single day of work that I needed to put in for my professor got postponed and elongated again and again because the internet refused to load up.

    Maxcom really is great!

The other day I was having some trouble with my wifi, and they sent over a person to configure it, for FREE.
In about 2 years, never had any trouble with their service.
