About Me

I am a self employed Karachiite with a questionable work ethic and a penchant for founding companies that run into trouble.

After spending all of four and a half years outside Pakistan, I headed back home on New Year’s eve ‘02 to find that it was far easier to live and do business at home… Economist, WSJ and the rest of the world media be damned. I started blogging so that if you ever wanted a contrarian opinion on my city, on working for yourself, on Pakistan or my two cents on just about everything else, you will have me pop up on google.

My claim to fame is a book on failure that failed to become a best seller.

I am still working on it.

  2. I’m calling foul. | Faisal Qureshi - March 25, 2008

[...] I am in touch with my lawyer Zahid Jamil about some very incriminating and defamatory photographs posted on various blogs.  I am quite sure that these pictures have gone through a lot of electronic adulteration and thus fall under various clauses of Pakistan’s e-crime bill.  I think it is my right to sue the likes of Jedi who claims to be my friend.  But with posts like this and this, he’s definitely looking to talk to my lawyer.  As for Mr. Owais, I want all pictures in these series, along with negatives and all copies made, immediately.
