Here is to a wold which is so much smaller and closer than the one I grew up in – where it is perfectly normal for a Pakitani practitioner to teach at an Indian University in Singapore.
The program, Global and Executive MBA run by SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. The Instiute is on 10 Hyderabad road, a 7 acre historical estate that once belonged to the Nizam of Hyderabad before it was turned into a dental hospital and only recently allocated as an educational campus.
Lush green lawns, never ending corridors and some of the brightest students I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. A faculty that read’s like a who’s who’s from Indian IIM’s and IITs.
The location, off Alexandra Road, in the midst of high end Singapore.
Right next to the old colonial bunglow that I have been fantasizing about for the last four months.
