Imran Zia aka Zia and/or Imran to friends, is someone that I have an enormous amount of respect for. We ran into each other when he started using Blue Screen of Death to teach entrepreneurship at FAST ICS. Then we worked together on the PASHA platform doing Startup Insider (SI) sessions, as co-judges on the Asia Pacific ICT Awards where we explored the finer points of Singapore and Jakarta together, as well as on a number of projects here at Alchemy.
Imran is one of those rare and extinct breed that is classified as a decent human being.
So his mail shot today announcing the launch of Tell My Story on the iphone app store really made my day. Here is a review from an unknown user who bought the application on its first day
“I love this app! Does exactly what it says! Easy-to-use Interface…should cost much more! Add your own photos, text, Ken Burns transitions, music (included with app!), and voila’–you have a great movie to share with friends!! I plan on using this with my students in school! My favorite iPhone app!”
Given what we have seen of Imran’s team I can tell you that you won’t be disappointed.
You make us proud dude.
