On my way in through the passenger’s entrance, I saw a brand new CAA sign advertising the KASB business and first class passengers check in. In I went and broke a new all time land speed record:

I know that we are used to these facilities in the developed world and between Emirates, Etihad and Singapore Airlines we have been spoilt rotten. But it was such a pleasant surprise to see the concept here and functioning in Karachi. That and the recently upgraded, dual storied, CIP lounge and travelling business from Karachi is slowly getting worthwhile.
Oh and just in case you are wondering why am I travelling business in such troubled times, I only have two words for you. Skywards miles, (I know you were expecting something else). Thank God for skywards and their lovely interface that has made using miles and upgrading a snap from your laptop.
