I still remember the day when thanks to Khan Atif, Mohtashim and Desi Back to Desh made it to Alltop on the same day. The office watched in horror as Mr. Shim and I jumped up and down, slapped each other on our backs and whopped with joy. One crazy fan did what we never thought of doing and got us listed and recognized on Guy Kawasaki’s latest directory and feed integrator.
Then Word Press troubles, spam injections and numerous other troubles hit my blog, my life and It-tazee at the same time. The RSS feed went under and the listing disappeared. I was heartbroken and had no idea how to fix it.
This morning walking through my log I noticed a number of direct referrals from http://pakistan.alltop.com and a quick link later I found that the two of us were back again. While I never got around to putting up the alltop badge on the desi blog, I still consider it a day making event. One that must be celebrated by atleast two bars of chocolate.
