The Alchemy Risk Management Solution Matrix

Posted on July 31, 2010 by Jawwad

10 years ago the risk function at a mid size regional bank was complex enough. Recently though when we put together our risk solution matrix, I realized how complex our world as risk managers has become. Gone are the days when we could survive in silos or get away with just being a credit or market risk guy. Today to survive and protect your franchise, you need to cross borders and boundaries more often than not. While a decade ago it was ok for a risk manager to write his custom risk reporting and MIS pieces, today he needs to embed the same logic in the transaction front end.

Here is the Alchemy risk management solution matrix. It took 7 years, a series of fortunate accidents and a team of 50 people to build this solution matrix.

For more details please see the Alchemy Risk Management products page or download our brochures directly for the treasury management and credit rating, FI limit management reserving and delinquency management product family.
